Eidselva
Eidselva river stretches from Nor, in the western end of Hornindalvatnet lake, to Eidsfjorden by Os, just outside the centre of Nordfjordeid. Here, you can buy a fishing licence both as a private individual and as a member of the Eid sports fishing club. You can buy a fishing licence at the sports shop in the ALTI shopping centre in Nordfjordeid. In the first 24 hours of the season in 2017,15 salmon weighing between 5 and 10 kg were caught.
Hjalma
Hjalma is a smaller salmon river that lies approx. 6 km west of Nordfjordeid. It’s a flood-prone river that rises quickly in heavy rain. You can buy a fishing licence at the sports shop in the ALTI shopping centre in Nordfjordeid.
