The biggest village on the north side of Stadlandet is idyllically situated with incredible views of Sunnmøre.

In the centre, you will find a grocery store, hairdresser, hotel, restaurant, hardware store, plumber, and a café and pub.

Leikanger is a good starting point for excursions and day trips to other small villages and numerous beautiful mountain hikes, and a gateway to even more spectacular scenery.

The village is home to several major international industrial companies:

Since the company was founded in 1995, it has developed into one of the country’s foremost specialists in advanced piping systems.
