Hoddevik

Hoddevik is a village in Ytre Stadlandet whose main industries are agriculture and tourism.

Today, the village is most famous for its one-and-a-half-kilometre- long sandy beach that is considered one of Norway’s best surf spots. In fact, many would say it’s one of the best in the world!

In Hoddevik, surfing is a year round activity. Stad Surfing and the Lapoint Surf Camp offer plenty of exciting water action all year round, and there is accommodation where both new and experienced surfers can meet before hitting the waves.

There is no shop in the village, but Tår Snackbar is like a small mini-shop, open 24 hours a day and has a coffee machine!
